MILWAUKEE COURTHOUSE STOPPED DOING WEDDINGS
Milwaukee County Courthouse hasn't performed wedding ceremonies since 2020, and there's no plan to bring them back. Most Milwaukee couples are now driving 30-45 minutes to Waukesha County Courthouse, dealing with limited appointment times, an uninspiring venue, and the hassle of coordinating everyone's schedules around courthouse availability. There's a better way.

WHY HIRING ME BEATS DRIVING TO WAUKESHA COURTHOUSE
- I Come to You. With me, you pick the location. Your living room. The park where you got engaged. That brewery where you had your first date. A cozy Airbnb. Anywhere in Milwaukee that feels right. I'll meet you there.
- Get Married On Your Schedule, Not Theirs. I'm available any day of the week, any time that works for you. Weekday afternoon? Saturday evening? Sunday morning? If I'm available, I'm there.
- I Guide You Through Everything. I walk you through the entire legal process from start to finish. How to get your marriage license, what to bring, when the waiting period kicks in, how to file everything. You're not navigating this alone.
- Heartfelt Language, Not Legal Jargon. I use contemporary, heartfelt language that's warm, genuine, and personal.
- Simple, Affordable, No Hassle. Quickie Ceremony: $300. Same legal requirements as the courthouse, but I come to you, work around your schedule, and handle all the paperwork. No driving, no limited time slots, no ugly venue.
WHAT'S A QUICKIE CEREMONY?
A short & sweet legal ceremony without the fuss. Perfect for elopements and couples who want something romantic without the big production.
What you get:
- Professional officiant (that's me) who comes to your location
- Contemporary, heartfelt ceremony language
- Marriage license guidance and filing
- Last minute availability
- Performed anywhere in southeast Wisconsin
HOW IT WORKS
- Book your officiant FIRST. Contact me with your wedding date. I'll confirm availability and answer any questions.
- Secure your date with a 50% deposit ($150). The other half is due on your wedding day.
- Get your marriage license. You'll need to apply at any Wisconsin County Clerk (I'll send you instructions). There's a 4-day waiting period or you can pay a $25 fee to waive it. You can't get your license until you've booked me as your officiant.
- Pick your ceremony location. Your home, a Wisconsin state park (no permit needed!), a meaningful spot. Your choice.
- Wedding day. I show up, perform your ceremony, handle the legal paperwork, and file your marriage license. Done.
You'll get your official marriage certificate in the mail a few weeks later (I'll send you instructions on how to order it).

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How fast can I book a Quickie? As fast as you can get your paperwork together! Text me at (414) 375-9838 to check availability.
- Do I need to write vows? Nope. The vows are prewritten so you can simply say "I Do!" If you want to write and recite your own vows you are welcome to.
- Can we do this in a Milwaukee park? Yes. Wisconsin state parks allow small ceremonies for free (no permit needed). Milwaukee County parks technically require permits even for small elopements, so state parks are your best bet.
- What if we want something more personalized? I also offer Signature Ceremonies ($800) that are fully customized with your love story woven throughout.
- Do you travel outside Milwaukee? Yes. I serve all of southeastern Wisconsin. Travel fees apply for ceremonies more than 30 miles from my home base in Milwaukee.
